Witchcraft is flourishing in the world while, the Spirit of the Christian Church is diminishing in its influence over the souls of people. Yet, Jesus has superior power over Satan and His hosts. How can you explain this situation? The truth is this; Satan only has the power that humans give to him. He has to convince them that he is all powerful by the evil that he creates. Other words, he has to tell the humans what he is going to do before he does it and then he has to get their agreement before he can do it.
Since men have wicked hearts, they quickly follow Satanâ‚¬s leading and because so many follow him, it looks like he is all powerful. God will not force anyone to accept Him or follow Jesus because humans must turn away from their wicked ways and repent asking Jesus Christ to save them. We see then they follow His pathway which the Bible says is narrow and only few find it. Meantime, the human race has given Satan their right to leadership on this earth by following his wicked ways of rebellion.
Occult techniques are now being introduced to millions in America through the New Age Movement. Psychics have become commonplace. Hollywood actors and entertainers star in television programs urging people to call their "top professional psychics." They are promoting Body, Mind & Spirit, recently proclaimed that "now with a single phone call, you can choose for yourself from among the country's leading Master Psychics including: Past life therapists, Tarot Card, Readers, Astrologers, numerologists, dream interpreters, channelers, clairvoyants, aura readers and healers.â‚¬Â
Psalm 97:9-11, â‚¬Å“For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods. 10 Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.â‚¬Â
