Gogi Grant was a major star who appeared at top cabaret venues across America and on many of the major television shows of her era. In 1956 she was voted Most Popular Female Vocalist by Billboard magazine. Across this 2CD set we focus on her output from the late 50s with the albums 'Gigi', 'Welcome To My Heart', 'Torch Time' and 'Granted - It's Gogi', the later two containing fantastic orchestra backing of Henri Rene and Johnny Mandel. We also include Gogi's remaining singles of that time, the biggest hit being "Kiss Me Honey, Honey Kiss Me". The diversity of material throughout this fantastic 2CD set leaves no doubt as to what a remarkable vocalist Gogi Grant was.
