QUALITY AND DURABILITY
From the front porch rocker to the wood stove fireplace, our blankets are there to keep you comfortable and warm. This blanket is woven with 80% virgin Merino wool / 20% nylon polyester blend. And with our large 66" x 90" size, you can fit more than just yourself in there.
THE BETTER WEAVE
Our Farmhouse Collection wool blankets are designed using a twill weave. Soils and stains are less noticeable due in part to the subtle diagonal texture. We use a long staple that is tightly spun to minimize poking and itching.
FINISHING TOUCH
After the weaving process, the Farmhouse Collection wool blanket is given a brushed finish, which results in extra warmth and softness. The edging is double-stitched using a polyester thread to withstand years of use. As a finishing touch, we have added a classic thick yarn whipstitch around all four sides of the blanket.
WHAT'S THAT SMELL?
Well, it's wool! Lanolin oil is found naturally in sheep wool and may be noticeable by those with an acute sense of smell. Although rare to pick up on, this scent is a testament to the wool's purity. Please note: Woolly Mammoth Woolen Company blankets have not been treated with a chemical flame retardant.
