How to Replace the Batteries:
- Remove the On/Off button at the top of the pen by turning it counter clockwise.
- Turn the pen upside down and gently tap until the old batteries come out.
- Insert (3) new LR44 batteries with the + sign facing up.
- Screw the On/Off assembly back on.

How to Replace the Ink Cartridge:

- Remove the pen assembly by pulling on the pen tip below the thin lower silver ring.
- Unscrew the ink cartridge at the top by turning counter clockwise and remove.
- Screw in the new ink cartridge by turning it clockwise.
- Press the pen assembly back into the pen body (don't forget the silver ring).
