Xena: Warrior Princess is full of epic, tragic stories, and Grieving Gabrielle and Young Hope are two of the chief players from "The Bitter Suite." These 6-inch figures (actually more like 4 inches for little Hope) are dressed from the episodes in which Xena and Gabrielle were enemies, and you can tell from the look of grim determination on the Grieving Gabrielle's face that she has seen hard times and expects more to come. Young Hope, dressed in a simple brown dress and boots, seems blissfully unaware of the high drama surrounding her, but anything becomes possible in the hands of imaginative kids. --Rob Lightner
