This Splitter Hybrid Diverted Adjustable Valve (aka; Blow Off Valve) is for ALL : Volkswagen 1.8T Engines Audi 1.8T Engines Volkswagen 2.7L Bi-turbo Engines (Requires 2x BOV per car for the 2.7L motors) Audi 2.7L Bi-turbo Engines (Requires 2x BOV's per car for the 2.7L motors) This is designed specifically for all the Volkswagen / Audi 1.8T and the 2.7L engines. Made out of aircraft super strong and light weight Aluminum 6061. This is available in Machined SILVER or Anodized BLACK (BLACK is in our other ebay listing). The piston internal is made out of Copper/ Zinc Plated. Precise Adjustment of the Splitter Hybrid Valve is done by turning the ratchet type cap adjustment knob located on the top of the valve. Turning the knob clockwise will stiffen the spring for higher levels of boost retention, while turning the knob counter-clockwise will loosen the spring tension for lower levels of boost retention. The Splitter is a truly remarkable valve that gives a combination of blow off and recirculation valve operation all at the same time and has been specifically designed for the many turbo engined applications that operate metered airflow management systems. This means you get all the noise of the blow off valve whilst retaining the compatibility with the recirculation requirements of the engine management system. As a bonus it offers the ability to convert the valve to recirculation only mode for those times when stealth running is required. The Hyrbid Valve is capable of 3 different setups, which are: 1.) Hybrid: Atmospheric AND Re -circulating Operation 2.) 100% Re-Circulating Mode 3.) 100% Atmospheric Mode
