The Freelancer Series of rollerball pens are produced in a limited edition, with each pen individually numbered. The exquisite Venetian blue color of the pens was inspired by a Venetian glass sculpture on the Murano islands in Italy. Each pen is made of solid brass with chrome plated solid brass fittings. The weight balanced body of the pen is designed for superior comfort and grip due to the tapered bulbous shape of the barrel. The barrel and cap are adorned with the guilloche (diamond-cut) pattern, which is applied with great precision to the surface of each pen. The unique Venetian blue metallic finish of the pen utilizes a multi-layer high-gloss lacquering technique. Each pen has a screw-on cap that secures on the pen barrel in capped position. However, to post the cap on the barrel's end, one must press down on the top of cap.
