Brass fittings are 18-karat gold-plated. Front part is made of solid brass and painted in black lacquer. Screw-on cap. Gold-plated stainless steel iridium point Fine nib with feeder and housing is made in Germany. Original ink refill is standard European size and is selectively interchangeable with a variety of commercially available fountain ink refills including Montblanc, Parker, Cross, WATERMAN, Schmidt, Sheaffer, S.T. DuPont, Visconti, Pelikan, Dunhill, Delta, Krone, Ancora and Cartier.
