Description
- FITMENT & CONFIGURATION: Compatible with 2012-2017 Hyundai Veloster 1.6L L4 gas models without a factory backup camera. Not for camera-equipped models using 81260-2V010 or 812602V010. Compare the connector, mounting points, rear handle shape, and original part number before ordering.
- PART NUMBER & PART TYPE: Replaces 81260-2V000 and 812602V000. This assembly combines the outside rear hatch handle, push-button switch, and lock housing. It is not the separate tailgate latch actuator or lock mechanism commonly listed under 81230-2V000.
- RESTORES EXTERIOR OPENING: Designed to replace a cracked, loose, water-damaged, or unresponsive Veloster trunk button. Restores the outside push-button function so the rear hatch can be released normally when the vehicle is unlocked.
- DIRECT REPLACEMENT DESIGN: Uses the existing electrical connector and factory mounting locations. Remove the interior hatch trim, disconnect the old assembly, transfer any required clips or hardware, and install the replacement. Professional installation is recommended when diagnosis or fitment is uncertain.
- PACKAGE & WARRANTY: Includes 1 rear hatch release switch and outside handle lock assembly for the non-camera configuration. Mounting hardware and instructions are not included unless shown in the product images. Covered by a one-year limited warranty from the purchase date.
