Beautiful in dramatic black ice PVD finish, the 1941 Replica is identified by several characteristic features, including a four-barrel hinge that joins the lid and bottom (the current Zippo lighter has a five-barrel hinge.) Flat front and back surfaces meet the sides with sharp, less rounded edges than current models. Sides of the inside unit are flat, with squared edges where they meet the front and back surfaces.
