Description
- Accurate Edge Finding for DIY Projects: Zircon StudSensor A100 helps locate wood and metal stud edges, while the LCD screen, audio tone, SpotLite Pointer and V marker groove help guide marking before hanging shelves, mirrors, cabinets or TVs
- Correct Calibration for Better Scans: Hold scanner flat against the wall, then press and hold the Power Button; in 1–2 seconds, a short beep confirms calibration is complete. Do not move during calibration, then slide slowly to scan
- Two Scanning Modes: StudScan Mode finds stud edges up to 3/4 in. deep for standard scans, while DeepScan Mode reaches up to 1 1/2 in. to help locate studs behind thicker walls, ceilings and surfaces
- Detects Live Electrical Wires: WireWarning Detection helps alert you to hot, unshielded electrical wires behind the wall, continuously detecting them up to 2 in. deep while you scan for studs or metal before drilling or mounting
- Low Battery Indicator: Lets you know when battery power is too low for proper scanning, helping you replace it with a new 9V alkaline battery with an extended expiration date for optimum performance
