John Howe has made a career out of visually interpreting the worse of some of the greatest fantasy writers of all time. Howe was one of the chief conceptual designers for The Lord of the Rings and has illustrated many of the best novels of all time. His Survivors include Darvon the Hewer, Cyrine, Gorvin, and Hildir the Wise.
