This show is completely engrossing. After watching the first two episodes I was hooked. Rami Malek is really outstanding as Elliot Alderson, and he will be the reason that you return again and again. Other exceptional stand-outs are Elliot Villar as Vera, Martin Wallström as Tyrell Wellick, and of course Christian Slater as Mr. Robot. The story itself is interesting, and while I've heard some complain that it "gets slow" or that it "drags on": I would have to disagree. Instead, I would say that the story unfolds very "thoughtfully," and it leaves enough bumps along the way to always pique your interest. Honestly though, besides the wonderful characters and story, the cinematography is the biggest pull for me. All I can say is that the camera work is beautiful and artistic. I love psychological thrillers and I am also a geek who who likes dramas that deal with technology. However, I also have a Master in Information Security and Digital Forensics, so I almost fear watching such shows, because they always get the technology wrong. CSI Cyber is a great example. I was ready to pull my hair out after watching that show.

WOW, am I glad I did! Not only is it one of the best dramas on TV, but THEY GOT THE TECHNOLOGHY RIGHT!

One of the interesting twists is the view from inside a person who has mental health issues and how one might function. Don't let this deter you because this will probably will be one of the trippiest things you've ever seen. The dialogue of the inner thoughts is poignant, touching, revelatory and seems as if it must be written by someone with some sort of personal insight.
A group of world class hackers take down the New York (read: the world) banking system, represented by the mega corporation, Evil Corp. The Evil Corp logo is very similar to the Enron logo; among many cultural references which inform Mr Robot, there...
