This is a dual hybrid type of case except not in the way you are imagining. The dual layer piece is actually two separate pieces on the top and bottom of the case. It is pleasantly slim and the nice matte back feels great. The cut out for the apple logo is a nice touch that adds elegance to the case. The cutouts are all done nicely and the buttons depress with absolutely no issues. Camera is lifted and the front lip also adds additional safety.
