- The sushi oke, also referred to as handai or hangiri, is used when serving and carrying sushi, cooking vinegar rice, as well as cooking and serving chirashi sushi.
- Craftsmen assemble and finish using sawara wood from the Kiso region, which has a good reputation, using traditional methods. The outer hoop is made of durable copper.
- Each piece is individually planed, making it highly water resistant and moisture wicking. By making vinegared rice on a rice cooker, you can prevent the water from the vinegar from being absorbed into the main unit and making the vinegared rice watery.
- CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Recommended to wash the bowl with water to wipe it, do not take it to soak water.
- The glue-like substance that may be found on the tub is the sap of the cypress tree. When the temperature becomes high, such as in summer, the substance accumulated in the cypress tree is secreted. It does not affect the human body and can be washed off.
