TWIST-IN RO/RODI CARTRIDGES PACK – Aquatic Life RO/RODI replacement cartridges pack includes Twist-In (1) Carbon Block Filter, (1) Sediment, (1) 100 GPD TFC Membrane, and (1) Deionization Cartridge.
SEDIMENT CARTRIDGE – The Sediment Filter Cartridge captures and reduces unwanted matter such as sand, silt, and rust from water which affect the quality and appearance of water.
CARBON BLOCK FILTER – The Activated Carbon Block Filter is the second stage of your RO unit. It reduces chlorine by up to 99% and conditions the water prior to the RO Membrane for up to six months.
TFC MEMBRANE FILTER – Thin Film Composite (TFC) Membrane reduces Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from the water down to 1/10,000.
COLOR CHANGING DI RESIN – The mixed bed deionization resin reduces Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) to zero in the final stage of an RO/DI unit. It uses Cations and Anions to remove TDS from water.

Aquatic Life Twist-In Sediment Filter Cartridge: Recommend replacing every 6 months. 5-Micron Sediment Filter that traps sediment and other particulate matter like dirt, silt and rust which will affect the taste and appearance of your water. Aquatic Life Twist-In Carbon Block Filter Cartridge: Recommend replacing every 6 months. Reduces chlorine and conditions water prior to a RO membrane. Aquatic Life Twist-In RO membrane filter cartridge, 100 GPD: recommended replacing every 1-2 years. The RO membrane reduces impurities known as total dissolved solids (TDS) from the water down to 1/10,000 of a micron, reducing arsenic, lead, parasitic cysts, copper and more. Flow rate: 100 gallons-per-day. Aquatic Life Twist-In Color Changing Deionization Filter Cartridge: Replace when the resin color changes completely. After the water is filtered by a membrane (not included), there is usually a small amount of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) left in the water. In certain non-drinking water applications, it is important to remove the remaining TDS from the water. This is accomplished by filtering the water through a resin that is charged with Cation and Anion resins (H+ and OH-). As the resin absorbs the TDS, it will change color. When the entire resin has changed color, it is time to replace the DI filter. The new twist-in media cartridge design makes filter changes simple, easy and clean - no tools required and no mess! The Twist-In cartridges can be easily changed in only seconds with just a quarter turn and without contact with used filter material. It is important the cartridges are installed post membrane filter to prolong the life of the Deionization (DI) cartridge. Working Pressure for all Twist-In cartridges: Minimum 35 PSI, Maximum 80 PSI, Ideal 65 PSI.
