EARLY MUSIC FOR THE BOWED PSALTERY contains 30 musical compositions from the European musical tradition. The pieces were written during the Medieval, Renaissance, & early Baroque Periods -- 13th to the 18th centuries – and include solos, duets, trios, quartets, & rounds arranged for any treble instrument such as the flute, recorder, violin, but especially the bowed psaltery.
