PLAY IT NOW! is a book of music arranged so that every song includes the name of the note and a number corresponding to a string on the bowed psaltery. This should allow anyone to pick up the instrument and, after a couple minutes becoming familiar with the bow, play a tune. Most of the songs are ones that you may already know. They were selected because, once a tune is in your head, it’s not hard to play it on an instrument. The book was designed to be easy but not simple, and you can use it to learn as much or as little as you want while playing this unique instrument.
