Compact 3.0Ah Lithium Ion slide-type batteries weigh less and are more compact in size than traditional 3.0Ah Li-ion batteries, while also providing fade free power. They have the same capacity as a conventional 18V 3.0Ah Lithium Ion battery, while the footprint is ¾" shorter in height and 0.6 lbs. lighter in weight (compared to Hitachi battery model BSL1830) making the work experience lighter, more comfortable and more convenient. The batteries are also equipped with Hitachi’s Multiplex Protection Circuit to prevent over-load, over-charge and over discharge that further extends the lifetime of the battery. They are fully compatible with all Hitachi 18V Lithium Ion slide type tools for even more flexibility across Hitachi’s cordless line. The Rapid Charger (model UC18YSL3) cools the battery during the charging cycle to prevent overheating, and comes with a color light indicator to clearly indicate the stage of charging the battery has achieved. This charger can replenish a depleted 18V 6.0Ah battery in less than 38 minutes! Additionally, the charger is produced with a USB port that can charge smartphones and other mobile devices for added jobsite convenience.
