Nurses Hate Psychiatrists (True Stories of Life in a Psychiatric Hospital Book 2)

In the spirit of the David Letterman television show I present, “The Top 10 Reasons Nurses Hate Psychiatrists.”

10. Nurses are angry they did not continue their education a little longer.
9. Nurses believe they are superior to all and they should answer to nobody.
8. Nurses believe they are smarter than psychiatrists.
7. Nurses think psychiatrists are arrogant and should not have to answer to them--or anyone.
6. Nurses wonder, “We do all the work, we know more than doctors, why we are we paid less?”
5. Nurses say, “How dare a doctor not answer my call when patients insist I answer their calls.”
4. Nurses are burned out and bitter.
3. Nurses reason, “I get paid more than all mental health professionals . . . I am great . . . psychiatrists should bow down to me?”
2. They also believe, “I know more about medications than this quack.”
1. Nurses are just plain tired of people and especially those they have to answer to.
