The Moss, Norway, band's Tell Me Why EP marks the band's first official release in the U.S.. NPR premiered the title-track saying ''...Death by Unga Bunga sounds like a time capsule to pure 1960s Britpop. Their sound is uncomplicated and infectious.'' While Death By Unga Bunga haven't previously released anything on these shores they did play this year's SXSW wowing anyone lucky enough to catch a show. The Austin Chronicle included them in their ''international notables'' list of who was playing and Jambase noted, ''it's not a proper SXSW without finding one band that truly leaves youawestruck. This year, I give you Death By Unga Bunga.'' The band is coming back to the US in October with shows booked around CMJ in New York City and a slot at the Culture Collide Festival in Los Angeles. Tell me Why is the follow up to the band's 2013 LP You're An Animal and once again sees the band pairing up the rawness of their first album Juvenile Jungle (2010) with the excellent songs and the authentic sound that has been their trademark since. The new EP is a perfect introduction to the band serving up two new tracks and four highlights from their catalog.
