The Avon Selling Process: What You Need To Know And More

This book is one of several on the business and activity of an Avon Representative. In that regard, it must, of necessity, be similar to the others, for no reasons other than the commonality of the subject matter.

But I have designed it to be more about the selling process itself. If you have some experience as a salesperson, this may broaden your horizons.

You can find many books on salesmanship. I read more than 200 of them in trying to put together this brief overview of the selling process and adapting it specifically to the Avon task.

I was an Avon Rep for 17 years, and I have a wall full of awards to prove it. I took over a dealership that was doing $3,000 per year and turned it into one doing more than $300,000 per year.

It was a task that other stated that I, a man, was not suited for. It was a task that I began when I was â€œtoo old to be employable,â€ in my fifties. But I took the time to see how it was done and researched how it could be done. And then when I was successful at doing it, I fell back to my first career, teaching folks HOW to do it.
