Description
- Created for the purpose of flood control in 1956, Wright Patman Lake supports a wide array of recreational opportunties. The numerous parks around the lake provide ample resources for water-based activities. The lake supports abundant populations of white bass and hybrid striped bass. Crappie and catfishing is also very good on the lake.
