Sometimes it is desirable to be able to rotate a part held in the vise to various angles or along an arc. This base holds the Sherline P/N 3551 milling vise and allows it to be pivoted about the fixturess center by loosening two hold-down screws. The vise can also be slid back and forth in the fixture by loosening four different hold-down screws. In some setups it can function as an inexpensive version of a rotary table for drilling holes around an arc. Hold-down system designed for use on Sherline mills.
